Welcome to "Anew," a project that originated from a moment of introspection during my work experience. This endeavor seeks to explore the complex theme of regrets through an abstract narrative, inviting audiences to delve into layers of meaning that unfold with each viewing.

The inspiration for "Anew" struck me while contemplating the concept of regrets. I envisioned a narrative that transcends surface-level storytelling, encouraging viewers to uncover deeper meanings upon repeated exploration. The goal was to create a piece that resonates universally while allowing individuals to draw personal connections to their own unique experiences.

At the core of "Anew" is a captivating story centered around Nell, a character navigating an imaginary yet remarkably realistic realm. The narrative unfolds in a therapeutic setting where Nell engages in a dialogue with a psychologist, who takes on an unconventional form—a creepy, human-resembling monster. This fantastical twist symbolizes the enduring consequences of regrets, manifesting as an eerie presence that shadows Nell in her journey of self-discovery.

The decision to present the psychologist as a monstrous figure adds a layer of surrealism, provoking thought on the nature of regrets and their impact on our lives. The recurring encounters between Nell and her monstrous guide serve as a poignant reminder that actions have lasting consequences. The narrative unfolds in a cyclical fashion, mirroring the relentless nature of regrets and the ongoing process of self-reflection.

By design, "Anew" encourages viewers to extract their own meanings and interpretations, allowing the narrative to resonate uniquely with each individual. The project aims to foster a connection between the audience and the characters, prompting reflection on their own lives and the choices that shape them.

In summary, "Anew" is not merely a story but an immersive exploration of regrets, consequences, and the perpetual journey toward self-discovery. Through its abstract narrative and symbolic elements, the project invites viewers to engage on both surface and profound levels, creating an experience that lingers in the mind and encourages personal introspection.
